§ General Conduct

Respect All Players. Harassment, bullying, threats, or any form of targeted hate speech based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, or nationality is strictly prohibited. Treat others how you wish to be treated. PERMANENT BAN

No Cheating or Hacking. Use of any unauthorized client modifications, hacked clients, X-ray texturepacks, macros, autoclickers, or exploit abuse is forbidden. This includes fly hacks, speed hacks, ESP, and Aimbot. PERMANENT BAN

No Griefing or Trolling. Destroying, modifying, or stealing from other players' builds or plots without explicit permission is not tolerated. This includes lava bombing, water flooding, and entity spam. 7-30 DAY BAN

English in Global Chat. Please use English in public channels so staff can moderate effectively. You're welcome to use your native language in private messages and party chats. WARNING
§ Builds & Plots

Appropriate Builds Only. Builds containing sexually explicit, graphically violent, or politically offensive content are prohibited. This includes offensive symbols, hate imagery, and NSFW pixel art. PLOT WIPE + BAN

No Plot Squatting. Do not claim plots with the intent to leave them empty. Inactive plots may be cleared after 30 days of inactivity to free space for active builders. PLOT CLEARED

Credit Original Builders. If you're recreating another builder's work, give proper credit in your plot description. Passing off others' creations as your own in competitions will result in disqualification. DISQUALIFICATION
§ Economy & Trading

No Scamming. Attempting to deceive other players in trades, auctions, or shops is forbidden. Always honor agreed-upon deals. Screenshot your trades as evidence. 14-30 DAY BAN

No Real-Money Trading. Buying, selling, or trading in-game items or currency for real-world money outside of official store channels is strictly prohibited. PERMANENT BAN
§ Minekeep Platform Rules

Account Integrity. Each player is limited to one active Minekeep account. Multi-accounting to evade punishments is a permanent ban. You are responsible for the security of your account. PERMANENT BAN

No Impersonation. Do not impersonate staff members, other players, or community figures. Using names or skins designed to mislead others is prohibited. 7-14 DAY BAN

Respectful Forum Posting. Keep forum discussions civil and on-topic. Do not necropost, spam, or flood threads. Use the correct forum categories for bug reports, suggestions, and appeals. POST REMOVED
§ Reporting & Appeals

Submit Evidence-Based Reports. All reports must include video or screenshot evidence. False reports or report abuse will result in disciplinary action against the reporter. REPORT DISMISSED

Appeal Patience. Ban appeals are reviewed within 5-7 business days. Do not open multiple appeals or DM staff to rush the process — this will negatively impact your case. APPEAL DENIED

No Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback on any AuraBuilds store purchase will result in an immediate permanent ban and may result in legal action for fraud recovery. PERMANENT BAN

Be Kind. Our Discord is a community hub for all ages. Maintain a positive, welcoming environment. Toxicity, witch-hunting, and drama-baiting are not tolerated. TIMEOUT / BAN

No Spam or Flooding. Do not send repeated messages, excessive emojis, copypastas, or unsolicited links. Respect the purpose of each channel and use them accordingly. MUTE

No NSFW Content. Explicit, graphic, or sexually suggestive content is absolutely prohibited across all channels. Zero tolerance — immediate ban. PERMANENT BAN

No Earrape or Soundboards. Blasting loud sounds, music, or using voice changers disruptively in voice channels is not allowed. Keep your microphone at a normal volume. VOICE BAN

No Unauthorized Advertising. Do not advertise other Minecraft servers, Discord servers, products, or services without prior approval from management. This includes DMs to community members. KICK / BAN

Follow Discord ToS. All community members must abide by Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Violations may result in reporting to Discord Trust & Safety. PERMANENT BAN

AuraBuilds started in the summer of 2022, born from a simple frustration: creative Minecraft servers were either bare-bones sandboxes or overcrowded competition machines. Founder siqns wanted something different — a genuine creative community where builders of all skill levels could thrive, be seen, and be inspired.
Starting with a humble 50-plot server running on a rented VPS, AuraBuilds grew through word of mouth. Players didn't just stay for the building tools — they stayed for the culture. The warmth. The aura.
By early 2023, we'd outgrown our original server twice, built a Discord community of over 2,000 members, and run our first major themed competition. The seed had become something real.

How do I join AuraBuilds?

Launch Minecraft Java Edition (1.8–1.21), go to Multiplayer → Add Server, and enter the IP play.aurabuilds.net. Hit Join Server and you're in! First-time players receive a welcome kit and 2 free plot slots automatically. We recommend running at least Minecraft 1.18+ for the best experience.
Is AuraBuilds free to play?

Absolutely! AuraBuilds is 100% free to play. You can claim plots, build, participate in competitions, and engage with the full community without spending a single penny. Our store ranks offer quality-of-life cosmetic perks — nothing that gives an unfair gameplay advantage. We believe in fair play for all.
What Minecraft version does AuraBuilds support?

AuraBuilds currently supports Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.8 through 1.21.x. We recommend playing on 1.20.4 or 1.21 for the best experience with all features enabled. Bedrock Edition is not currently supported, but we're exploring cross-platform options for a future update.
How do I claim a plot?

Walk to any empty plot and type /plot claim to claim it as your own. You can also use /plot auto to be automatically teleported to the nearest available plot. Free players start with 2 plot slots. Use /plot info to see your plot details and /plot home to return to your main plot anytime.

How often are competitions held?

We host weekly mini-competitions (usually announced Friday, judged Sunday) and larger monthly themed competitions with bigger prizes. Seasonal mega-competitions happen 4 times a year aligned with holidays and Minecraft updates. All competition announcements are made in our Discord server — make sure you have notifications on!
What are the prizes for competitions?

Prizes vary by competition tier. Weekly minis award in-game currency and cosmetic items. Monthly competitions offer rank upgrades, exclusive cosmetics, and in-game currency bundles. Seasonal mega-competitions offer real store credit, custom rank titles, and even merchandise (for top-tier events). All prizes are detailed in each competition announcement.
Can I submit a build I made before the competition started?

No — all competition entries must be built during the active competition period from scratch. Judges use build logs to verify this. Pre-existing builds or builds begun before the start date will be disqualified. We want to see your creative process under the competition theme, not a repurposed old project.

I purchased a rank but haven't received it. What do I do?

First, log out and back into the server — rank delivery can take up to 5 minutes. If it still hasn't appeared after 30 minutes, open a support ticket in our Discord with your purchase receipt/order ID. Our staff respond to tickets within 24 hours. Do not charge back before contacting support — it will result in a permanent ban.
Can I upgrade my existing rank?

Yes! We offer rank upgrades at a discounted price. For example, if you own Ember and want to upgrade to Blaze, you only pay the price difference rather than the full Blaze price. Upgrade options are available in the store automatically when you're logged in with a linked account. Contact support if you don't see the discount applied.

I was banned. How do I appeal?

Submit a ban appeal through our Minekeep portal at minekeep.aurabuilds.net. Include your IGN, the reason you believe the ban was unjust, and any supporting evidence. Appeals are reviewed within 5–7 business days. Do not create alternate accounts while banned — this will extend your ban. Do not DM staff members directly about appeals.
How do I report a player or bug?

For player reports: use /report [username] [reason] in-game or open a ticket in our Discord. Always include screenshot/video evidence — reports without evidence are rarely actionable. For bug reports: use the #bug-reports channel in Discord with your Minecraft version, a description, and reproduction steps. We take bugs seriously and reward significant find reports!
How do I apply to become a staff member?

Staff applications open periodically — watch for announcements in Discord's #announcements channel. Generally, to be considered you should be: at least 15 years old, active on the server for 2+ months, have a clean punishment history, and be able to contribute at least 10 hours per week. During open applications, a form link will be posted. Do not DM staff asking for positions — it reduces your chances significantly.

The server is showing as offline. Is it down?

Check our Discord #server-status channel for real-time updates. We announce maintenance windows at least 30 minutes in advance. Unplanned outages are posted within 15 minutes of detection. If you see no status update but can't connect, try restarting your Minecraft client first — this resolves ~80% of "can't connect" reports.
How do I export my build to use in singleplayer?

Build export is available to Phoenix rank holders. Use the command /plot download while standing in your plot. The schematic file will be emailed to your registered account email within 30 minutes. Free/lower-rank players can purchase individual plot exports for $2 each through the store without needing a full rank upgrade.
